Update: We did it!! Thanks to you, we raised $5,006 - enough money to supply clean water to an entire community! This is the best birthday gift I could possibly receive. Tears in my eyes. All I want for my 30th birthday is a drink.
...not a fancy margarita or a glass of wine (though that would be nice)
…not a beer or a Coke or a tall glass of sweet tea
…just a simple drink of clean water for someone who desperately needs it.
Today is my 30th birthday…a big one… and I can think of no better way to celebrate than to resume our fundraising efforts for Charity:Water. The Rally to Restore Unity already brought in a whopping $3,181, which means we’ve raised 60% of what is needed to fund a clean water project FOR AN ENTIRE VILLAGE! My birthday wish is to get one step closer to our goal. We have just 47 days left before the fundraising page expires.
