Like my necklace?

There are two reasons I look good in this photo: 

1. After a year of split-ends and frizz, all in the name of “biblical womanhood,”  I FINALLY got a much-needed haircut on Tuesday! Hurray! 

2. I’m wearing a beautiful, handcrafted necklace that was made by a woman named Huang Nan, an artisan for Hill Country Hill Tribers. HCHT is an organization that provides supplemental income and marketable skills to refugees living in Austin, Texas. If you love this necklace as much as I do, check outThe Sunbreak Collection. I’d like to post something around Christmas featuring ideas for fair trade gifts and gifts that support good causes...sorta like Oprah’s favorite things. :-) Suggestions?
