The best thing about subscribing to my newsletter is you won’t get many messages from me. Seriously. I’ve had a newsletter since 2009, and so far I’ve sent out one message. That was in 2010 to announce the release of Evolving in Monkey Town.
The second best thing about subscribing to my newsletter is if you sign up right now, your confirmation email will include a two-chapter excerpt from my soon-to-be-released new book, A Year of Biblical Womanhood. Phyllis Tickle calls it "a bitter-sweet cocktail of wisdom and absurdity that will charm you, entertain you, seduce you and, finally, instruct you."

Anyway, you can expect to receive an announcement release week (October 30), which will likely be followed by another long silence unless something major happens like I run for president or am invited on the Colbert Report.
