What’s on your reading wish list?
I don’t know about you, but if all I got for Christmas was a stack of books, I’d be perfectly content. Because they are easy to buy online and relatively inexpensive, I made a list for my family and told them to have at it. These are my 10 top picks:
The Mission of God by Christopher Wright
The Hole in Our Gospel by Richard Stearns
The Reason for God by Tim Keller (I know I’m a little behind the bandwagon on this one)
Manifold Witness by John Franke
The Lost World of Genesis One by John Walton
The Boundary-Breaking God by Danielle Shroyer
What the Dog Saw by Malcom Gladwell
Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen
Love is an Orientation by Andrew Marin (I have a feeling this would spark some great conversations here on the blog!)
The Flying Carpet of Small Miracles by Hala Jaber
What’s on YOUR reading wish list? And what should I add to mine, should I get a gift card or two?
[Oh, and don’t forget, if you want to get an early start on next year’s Christmas shopping, consider pre-ordering Evolving in Monkey Town by Rachel Held Evans. I hear it's excellent.]
