We’re about halfway through the season of Lent, so for those of you fasting or focusing on a particular spiritual discipline, things might be getting tough.

My friend Melissa shared an idea with me the other day that might help:

It’s a great perspective, and it reminded me of some of the questions I asked myself before embarking on my Lenten journey.

So what do you want?

What do you want from this season, from yourself, and from life? And how does that help motivate you on tough days?
