God give me a fearless faith—
not merely the kind that defends conquered ground, but the kind that discovers new territory,
not merely the kind that answers questions, but the kind that dares to ask them,
not merely the kind that bravely speaks up, but the kind that bravely listens,
not merely the kind that overcomes doubt, but the kind that obeys in spite of it.
God give me the kind of faith that is better than certainty— the kind that requires risk.
And as I run headlong into the mystery of it all, perhaps You and I will bump into one another.
