The winners…(and a fun way to say thanks)

Congratulations to Diana and her friend Shauna for winning signed copies of Evolving in Monkey Town for Christmas! Hope you enjoy the read!

If you’re disappointed, just hop on over to Amazon and add Evolving in Monkey Town to your wish list. Maybe a benevolent aunt or uncle will pick it up for you on Cyber Monday.

I’ll be out of commission for the rest of the week as I prepare to host Thanksgiving dinner at my house –part of my domestic duties for the womanhood project.  I’ve already rebelled against Martha Stewart by refusing the brine my 20-pound turkey…I hope this has no karmic repercussions as I attempt her apple pie today!  Fortunately, we will be celebrating with my parents and our pastor and his family who are all understanding, relaxed people.  I’ve asked some of them to bring back-up dishes just in case. (If you’re not slaving away in the kitchen yourself, you can keep up with me on Twitter and Facebook.)

I’d love to hear what YOU are thankful for this year…but try answering in this familiar pattern—something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

Here's what came to my mind:

The Book of Common Prayer
New friendships
The apple corer/peeler/slicer I borrowed from Carrie
Giotto’s frescoes
